Our Preschool programs, Tiny Tots and Kidz Gym, provide a fun way to get your child active, athletic, and focused. All classes are 50 minutes and include a warm-up, rotations on beam, bars, floor, and trampoline. All preschool gymnasts will use props while also learning about colors, shapes, animals, and more!

Tiny Tots

This introductory class is for ages 18 months to 36 months of age. A parent will participate with their child while they learn basic gymnastics and social skills. Upon completion of this level, gymnasts will be promoted to a Kidz Gym Class.

Some fun Tiny Tots skills include:

  • Front roll on the cheese mat
  • Tuck jump on the trampoline
  • Beginning cartwheels on the floor

Kidz Gym Level 1

This is an entry-level class for 3-4-year-old boys and girls. Students will learn fundamental gymnastics skills while learning important social skills that will help them in preschool and other outside social activities. Each class will incorporate a theme such as Directions, Numbers, and Character Traits to increase the learning environment and structure of the class.

Gymnasts will learn fundamental gymnastics skills such as:

  • Front rolls and back rolls
  • Handstands
  • Cartwheels
  • Balancing
  • Running

They will also learn the following social skills:

  • Following directions
  • Interacting positively with classmates and instructors
  • Taking turns

Kidz Gym Level 2

This intermediate-level class for 3-4-year-old boys and girls will progress the skills they learned in Kidz Gym 1 and begin to prepare them for the boys and girls gymnastics programs we offer. There is a continued focus on social skills while developing fundamental gymnastics. Gymnasts will improve their strength, focus, and self-confidence as they grow in the program. The fundamental gymnastics skills will be more advanced and gymnasts will gain independence in their performance of the skills.

Some of the gymnastics skills include:

  • Front Rolls and Back Rolls
  • Cartwheels
  • Handstands
  • Balancing
  • Swinging on the bars
  • Air Awareness on the trampoline

They will also continue to develop the following social skills:

  • Express emotions verbally
  • Focus on one activity for 10 minutes
  • Demonstrate responsibility and independence
