Emily Dufresne competes for ASI Allen as a member of Amanda Turner’s Level 4 Team. Emily is ten years old and has attended ASI for about five years. She started in Girls Bronze and has progressed each year. Emily recently competed at the TAAF Winter Games of Texas, hosted by the City of Friso.
We got a chance to talk to Emily and her coach Amanda.

Favorite Color: Orange. She likes to eat them!
Favorite Animal: Cat, she has two very cute cats, Morris and Lola.
Favorite Sport: Gymnastics! Oh, and she loves Soccer.

Q. If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be?
A. I would be a cat, so I could play with Morris and Lola. I love them.
Q. How would you describe yourself in three words?
A. Ok, funny (That was only two)
Q. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A. Artist
Q. How far do you want to go in gymnastics?
A. I just want to have fun.
Emily is in the 4th grade at Andrews Elementary in Plano. Her favorite subject is Math and she really likes her teachers because they are nice and funny. Emily is also involved in soccer and softball. She is quite active and very funny.
Amanda Turner, Emily’s coach, seems to sum up Emily and the ASI attitude perfectly, “Emily has a silly personality until it is time to compete, then she is so focused and serious.”
