ASI Gymnastics hosted the second Gymmie Kids “Practice Makes Perfect” Meet of the year this past Sunday at ASI Firewheel. Thirty-one special needs students from nine different ASI locations showed off routines on six different events. Gymmie Kids Director Mary Kate Hopkins organized the event which included a group warm up to music, the competition, a dance party, and a medal presentation. Each child competed on the events of their choice and received a medal, flower, and ASI tote bag at the end. It was a perfect day at ASI Gymnastics.

“This is by far our favorite event of the year at ASI. The smiles on the kids’ and parents’ faces are priceless!” Andrea Ward, Sales Supervisor at ASI Arlington said. Everyone in attendance was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. The coaches were beaming after each event their students competed. The parents were snapping pictures nonstop. The gymnasts proudly saluted the crowd after completing their skills.
