There was a lot going on this weekend for ASI Gymnastics in the competitive arena! The competitions lasted from Friday, February 26 – Sunday, February 28 and involved girls’ team levels 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 and the boy’s team level 1-4. There were a total of four different venues hosting the ASI competitive teams. ASI’s levels 1 and 2 girls competed at ASI Firewheel in the Lollipop Meet, a favorite for all. ASI Firewheel, Lake Highlands, and Allen’s girls’ level 4-6 competed at the Zenith Winter Classic at Zenith Gymnastics Academy. Arlington and Keller’s girls’ team levels 4 and 5 competed at the Anna Brashear Invitational at Denton Gymnastics Academy. Also, the ASI boys’ team levels 1-4 competed at ASI Plano West in the Men of Steel meet.

It was a fierce weekend full of fun competition and we are so proud of all of our ASI athletes. Coach Tiffany of Arlington said it perfectly, “A rough start turned into a fantastic finish.” The girls and boys teams are working hard to perfect their routines for the state meet coming up in April/May. The competition season is almost over! Give it all you got ASI!
