What is Gymnastics After School?

Gymnastics After School is a high-energy After Care program with gymnastics instruction. Kids also work on homework and enjoy snack time, group games and other physical activities.

What are the perks to being in ASIs Gymnastics After School program?

    • Recreational Gymnastics Classes will be discounted to $45/Month
    • Afternoon sessions of Camp will be included when there are school closings.
    • Morning sessions of Camp will be discounted to only $20/session. This perk applies to those who elect to stay enrolled monthly inGAS.
    • Tuition credits will be issued each quarter to those enrolled in GAS and may be redeemed toward your monthly tuition. See myRewards page for more information.

How old does my child have to be in order for ASI to transport him/her from school?

Your child must be in Kindergarten and 5 years old for transportation. If your child is 4, he/she must be dropped off at ASI until he/she turns 5.

How do I sign up my child?

You will need to complete the following steps each school year for enrollment:

  • Fill out the Gymnastics After School Enrollment & Release Form.
  • Login to myASI and complete your enrollment request for the 2015-2016 Gymnastics After School year.
  • If you do not already have myASI account set up with ASI gymnastics, please set one up by clicking on the Create Account button. If you have already created an account, please log in with your email address and password.
  • On the lefthand side, click Find Gymnastics After School.
  • For Option 1 (transport) and Option 2 (non-transport), select Enroll Now for the 2015-2016 Gymnastics After School Program.
  • For Option 3 (Drop-In), select Gymnastics After School Drop In for your selected drop-in day.
  • Click on Submit Request
  • Choose your student
  • Choose your start date
  • You will then be charged the $150 deposit that will then be applied to your August tuition.

How do I sign up for a GAS Drop-In?

  • Fill out the Gymnastics After School Enrollment & Release Form.
  • Login to your myASI account.
  • Under Programs, choose Gymnastics After School and hit submit.
  • Choose the individual Drop-In day you are requesting.
  • You will be required to enter your credit card information in order to pay for your reservation.
  • After your request, our Sales staff will review and process your request. If there are any problems, we will contact you.
  • Otherwise, after your request has been processed, you should receive a confirmation email.

If I am bringing my child for a Drop-In Gymnastics After School day, what time can I bring them?

Drop-in begins at 3 p.m. and they must be picked up by 6:30 p.m.

Do I pay an activity fee for a Drop-In?

No. If you are new to ASI, you will only pay the $30 single enrollment fee per child.

What should my child wear if I am bringing them for a GAS Drop-In?

Please wear gym attire (leotard or sport shorts and a t-shirt). No shoes/socks are required.

How do I pick up my child from a Gymnastics After School drop-in day?

Upon arrival, each parent will be issued a key tag. This tag will be used to then scan the child out.

If I am enrolled in Gymnastics After School, how do I receive my discount for camp sessions?

There is a question during the enrollment process that asks if youre currently enrolled in After School. If you select yes, your charge will be created accordingly! The price on myASI will still show as $23, but upon approval, a sales representative will discount it before processing payment. You will receive a receipt in your e-mail inbox detailing all transactions.

What time is arrival and dismissal?

GAS is offered Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. 6:30 p.m. during the school year. The childrens arrival takes place between 3-3:45, depending on the release time of each school. All children should be picked up no later than 6:30 p.m.

What if I am late for pick up?

There is a $5.00 late fee every five minutes you are late beginning at 6:30 p.m.

What if my child does not need to be picked up from school?

If your child does not need to be transported from school, you must notify the front desk by 1 p.m. each day. If your child will be routinely absent one day a week for activities such as tutoring, school plays, etc., inform the front desk of the day and duration. This will alleviate the necessity of calling each week. We ask you to do this so we can better ensure the safety of the children riding the bus. FAILURE TO NOTIFY ASI WILL RESULT IN A $10.00 FEE. There are no refunds for absenteeism.

What is the policy when my child is sick?

If your child has any of the following symptoms, he/she will not be allowed to attend ASI until the symptoms and/or fever have been gone for at least 24 hours.

  • Fever
  • Upper respiratory
  • Gastrointestinal
  • Or other major illness

If your child exhibits signs of illness in GAS, we will call you or another authorizedperson to pick up your child within one hour from the time we contact you. We cannot release your child to anyone other than a parent or an authorized person.

Can my child do her homework while attending the Gymnastics After School Program?

Yes. Each day children will be given a 30-minute break. During this time, every child is given the opportunity to pick their activity, including: homework, read, draw/color or play board games.

Does ASI offer my child an after school snack?

Yes.We offer a drink and snack after school for each child. Your child may also elect to purchase snacks from the vending machine.

What happens when there is no school?

GAS will be closed on school holidays. However, ASI offers a camp your child may attend. Camp days are divided into 2 sessions: morning session is from 8 a.m. 1 p.m. and the afternoon session is from 1 p.m. 6 p.m. Afternoon camp sessions during school holidays are offered at no additional charge for GAS students; however, you must pre-register for camp ahead of time. GAS holiday camp sessions are neither transferable nor refundable. Your child may attend the morning session or any afternoon session that your child is not currently enrolled in for an additional fee. Please consult the front desk for pricing of camp.

How does ASI discipline?

At ASI Gymnastics, discipline consists of positive reinforcement, redirection and time out. Our discipline will be individualized and will be appropriate of each childs age. We do not believe in humiliating, ridiculing, rejecting or yelling at a child. We never allow physical punishment under any circumstance.

What should my child wear during Gymnastics After School?

Each child should bring a pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt to wear every day. Gym attire is safer for the children and they will be much more comfortable. An ASI t-shirt will be ASI Gymnastics After School (GAS) provided at the beginning of the year for each child and the parents are responsible for providing gym shorts. Additional shirts are available at the gym. Children dressed in street clothes (jeans, skirts, tights anything with zippers, snaps,buttons) will not be permitted to use any gym equipment, including trampolines and mats. Children will be asked to remove shoes and socks when entering the gym area. This safety requirement alleviates slips and falls. Gym socks with rubber grippers on the
bottom will be allowed for children with medical issues.

Is there a discount for Gymnastics After School students that want to take gymnastics classes?

Yes. Recreational gymnastics classes are discounted to $45.00 each class.

Does ASI offer a sibling discount for Gymnastics After School?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a sibling discount for Gymnastics After School students, but we do offer a $30 gymnastics discount instead!

What is the preferred method of communication?

Please make sure we have your email address on file as we use it as a form of communication.

How do I check my child out?

The attendance of each gymnast is tracked by using a barcode key tag system. Each adult listed on the release authorization form will be issued a barcode key tag. The adult will scan the key tag to sign-in at the facility prior to the gymnast being released. Children will not be called from their group until the parent is present in the facility.

To ensure our childrens safety, ASI keeps a file of names, addresses and phone numbers of people authorized to pick up each child in case of an emergency. The file is based on information provided on the enrollment forms. It is very important our Customer Service Reps be notified in writing of any changes, as children cannot be released without proper authorization and identification. For additional security and proof of identification, ASI may also ask to view a drivers license.

What if I need additional key tags?

For the protection of the children, the key tags are issued specifically to people who are authorized to pick up your child. If additional keys are needed, there will be a $3.00 charge per key. Please see the front office to purchase extra keys.

What if I need more than 4 keytags?

Please stop by the gym. You will need to bring the following. Your driver license, and the name and relationship of the person you are authorizing, their phone number, and their driver licence number.

My child takes medication everyday, what is ASIs policy for this?

For the safety of your child, we cannot dispense medication without a signed medical authorization form. See the front desk for the appropriate medication forms. All medication must be in the original container. Over-the-counter medication will never be dispensed to children.

In case of injuries and emergencies, what policies does ASI follow?

At ASI Gymnastics, we make every effort to assure your childs safety, though we cannot guarantee that accidents will not occur. In case of a serious accidental injury, you will be contacted immediately. If you cannot be reached, we will call the authorized person you have indicated on the Enrollment Form to make medical emergency decisions about your child. A signed emergency medical release is necessary to insure prompt medical attention. If we cannot reach anyone, your child will be transported to the nearest hospital of your choice and recommendations of the attending physician will be followed. ASI will have a designated person stay with your child until you arrive.

What is the safety policy while transporting my child from school to ASI?

All children transported by ASI Gymnastics must adhere to safety rules. Children must remain seated, wear a seat belt and follow the staffs directions at all times. Because of our safety requirements, any violation of this transportation policy may result in restriction of your child riding in the vehicle. Because of the seriousness of our safety concerns, we will notify parents immediately of any discipline problems that occur in our vehicles.

Can parents stay and observe?

Parents are always welcome to observe our daily activities with supervision. We are happy to talk to you about the policies and procedures of ASI Gymnastics. If there are any concerns or questions, please make an appointment with the front desk.

What are the Prices and Fees?

  • Gymnastics After School customers are required to sign up for autopay, either paying by credit or debit card.
  • There is a one-time registration fee of $30.00 per child.
  • An annual $150.00 activity fee will cover gym t-shirts, fitness equipment, activities for break, recreation equipment and daily snacks. This is due before the first day of school. This amount will not be prorated nor refunded. The annual fee does not apply to Drop-In students.
