The Beginning of the 2017-2018 Meet Season

On Saturday, December 2nd, ASI The Woodlands hosted the Practice Makes Perfect Meet, officially kicking off the 2017-2018 meet season! This meet was very emotional for the gymnasts and the coaches, as this was the first competition after the passing of Coach Mike of ASI The Woodlands. All the gymnasts dawned neon colored bows in their hair to commemorate him.  Although it was a tough day for all, the girls showed their strength and truly shined “Bright Like Mike”.

The 80 gymnasts, ranging from Levels 1-4, have worked all year long at perfecting their skills and memorizing their routines. They put in countless hours of practice time to make sure that this season goes well! Great job to all the girls, we can’t wait to see how everyone improves as the season continues!
