Girls Advanced Gold

This is the most advanced level gymnastics class. Girls develop strength, learn skills required to enter Level 2 Team, and confidence in their athletic ability. Prerequisites for this class: gymnast must pass Girls Gold or placement evaluation.

Some fun Advanced Gold skills include:

  • Back tuck on trampoline
  • Bridge back kick over on floor
  • Pike sole circle dismount
  • Roundoff

*GOAL: To promote to Team ASI and additional Power Tumbling Classes.

Girls Gold

This is an advanced level gymnastics class. Girls will gain more power and endurance. Girls will learn 28 gymnastics skills on girls’ gymnastics apparatus. Upon completion gymnast is prepared to enter Level 1 Team. Prerequisites for this class: gymnast must pass Girls Silver or placement evaluation.

Some fun Gold skills include:

  • Back hip circle on bars
  • Back handspring on trampoline
  • Cartwheel to handstand dismount on beam
  • Level 1 floor routine

*GOAL: To promote to Advanced Gold or Team ASI

Girls Silver

This is an intermediate gymnastics class, developing athletic growth and discipline. Girls will learn 30 gymnastics skills on girls’ gymnastics apparatus. Prerequisites for this class: gymnast must pass Girls Bronze or placement evaluation.

Some fun Silver skills include:

  • Spotted back handspring on trampoline
  • Pullover on bars
  • Cartwheel to handstand dismount on low beam

*GOAL: To promote to Girls Gold

Girls Bronze

This is an introductory class. Girls will learn 36 basic gymnastic skills on girls’ gymnastics apparatus. Upon completion of this level, gymnasts will be promoted to a Silver Gymnastics Class.

Some fun Bronze skills include:

  • Front roll and back roll
  • Cartwheel
  • Seat drop on trampoline
  • Front support on the bars
  • How to run

Kidz Gym Level 2

This intermediate-level class for 3-4-year-old boys and girls will progress the skills they learned in Kidz Gym 1 and begin to prepare them for the boys and girls gymnastics programs we offer. There is a continued focus on social skills while developing fundamental gymnastics. Gymnasts will improve their strength, focus, and self-confidence as they grow in the program. The fundamental gymnastics skills will be more advanced and gymnasts will gain independence in their performance of the skills.

Some of the gymnastics skills include:

  • Front Rolls and Back Rolls
  • Cartwheels
  • Handstands
  • Balancing
  • Swinging on the bars
  • Air Awareness on the trampoline

They will also continue to develop the following social skills:

  • Express emotions verbally
  • Focus on one activity for 10 minutes
  • Demonstrate responsibility and independence

*GOAL: To promote to Recreational Boys or Girls Gymnastics Class
