Parents, all that extra time your gymnast is spending in the gym means more of, “Mom, my hands hurt! My back aches! My arms are sore!” One of the biggest complaints parents of a gymnast will probably get is that of sore hands. Your little one is spending some time of bars, meaning those hands will transition from soft and dainty to tough and course. This is all a part of being a gymnast!

The competitions have officially started for the Olympic Games this past weekend, and Team USA came out in full force! The men’s qualifications were Saturday, August 6th, and the ladies competed in their qualifications Sunday, August 7th. Allen’s very own nine-year-old, Noah, has been attending ASI for three years now and continues to love the sport of gymnastics! Noah started taking gymnastics when he was six years old and was enrolled in Boys Bronze with Coach Danielle. After two years of gymnastics, Noah was invited to join team. Can you guess what his decision was? He decided to join the ASI Allen Boys Team in 2015 with Coach Cris and Coach Louis.
